Miserere mei Deus

 

Miserere mei, Deus,  .....  Have mercy on me, O God, 

secundum magnam misericordiam tuam;  .....  according to thy great mercy.

et secundum multitudinem  .....  And according to the multitude

miserationum tuarum  .....  of thy tender mercies 

dele iniquitatem meam.  .....  blot out my iniquity.

하느님, 당신 자애에 따라 저를 불쌍히 여기소서. 당신의 크신 자비에 따라 저의 죄악을 지워 주소서.

Amplius lava me ab iniquitate mea  .....  Wash me yet more from my iniquity,
et a peccato meo munda me.  .....  and cleanse me from my sin.

 

저의 죄에서 저를 말끔히 씻으시고 저의 잘못에서 저를 깨끗이 하소서.

Quoniam iniquitatem meam ego cognosco,  .....  For I know my iniquity,

et peccatum meum contra me est semper.  .....  and my sin is always before me.

 

저의 죄악을 제가 알고 있으며 저의 잘못이 늘 제 앞에 있습니다.

Tibi soli peccavi  .....  To thee only have I sinned,

et malum coram te feci,  .....  and have done evil before thee: 

ut iustificeris in sermonibus tuis  .....  that thou mayst be justified in thy words 

et vincas cum iudicaris.  .....  and mayst overcome when thou art judged.

 

Tibi, tibi soli peccavi

ut iustus inveniaris in sententia tua  et aequus in iudicio tuo. 

당신께, 오로지 당신께 잘못을 저지르고 당신 눈에 악한 짓을 제가 하였기에

판결을 내리시더라도 당신께서는 의로우시고 심판을 내리시더라도 당신께서는 결백하시리이다.

 

Ecce enim in iniquitatibus conceptus sum,  .....  For behold I was conceived in iniquities; 
et in peccatis concepit me mater mea.  .....  and in sins did my mother conceive me.

정녕 저는 죄 중에 태어났고 허물 중에 제 어머니가 저를 배었습니다.

Ecce enim veritatem dilexisti  .....  For behold thou hast loved truth:
incerta et occulta sapientiae tuae  .....  the uncertain and hidden things of thy wisdom 

manifestasti mihi.  .....  thou hast made manifest to me.

 

Ecce enim veritatem in corde dilexisti et in occulto sapientiam  manifestasti mihi.

그러나 당신께서는 가슴속의 진실을 기뻐하시고 남모르게 지혜를 제게 가르치십니다.

Asperges me hyssopo,  .....  Thou shalt sprinkle me with hyssop,

et mundabor;  .....  and I shall be cleansed:

lavabis me,  .....  thou shalt wash me, 

et super nivem dealbabor.  .....  and I shall be made whiter than snow.

 

우슬초로 제 죄를 없애 주소서. 제가 깨끗해지리이다. 저를 씻어 주소서. 눈보다 더 희어지리이다.

Auditui meo dabis  .....  To my hearing thou shalt give 

gaudium et laetitiam;  .....  joy and gladness:
et exsultabunt ossa humiliata.  .....  and the bones that have been humbled shall rejoice.

 

Audire me facies gaudium et laetitiam, et exsultabunt ossa, quae contrivisti.  

기쁨과 즐거움을 제가 맛보게 해 주소서. 당신께서 부수셨던 뼈들이 기뻐 뛰리이다.

Averte faciem tuam a peccatis meis  .....  Turn away thy face from my sins,
et omnes iniquitates meas dele.  .....  and blot out all my iniquities.

 

저의 허물에서 당신 얼굴을 가리시고 저의 모든 죄를 지워 주소서.

 

 

Cor mundum crea in me, Deus,  .....  Create a clean heart in me, O God:

et spiritum rectum innova  .....  and renew a right spirit 

in visceribus meis.  .....  within my bowels.

 

et spiritum firmum innova

하느님, 깨끗한 마음을 제게 만들어 주시고 굳건한 영을 제 안에 새롭게 하소서.

Ne proicias me a facie tua  .....  Cast me not away from thy face; 
et spiritum sanctum tuum ne auferas a me  .....  and take not thy holy spirit from me. 

 

당신 면전에서 저를 내치지 마시고 당신의 거룩한 영을 제게서 거두지 마소서

Redde mihi laetitiam salutaris tui  .....  Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation,

et spiritu principali confirma me.  .....  and strengthen me with a perfect spirit.   

 

et spiritu promptissimo confirma me.

당신 구원의 기쁨을 제게 돌려주시고 순종의 영으로 저를 받쳐 주소서.

Docebo iniquos vias tuas,  .....  I will teach the unjust thy ways:
et impii ad te convertentur.  .....  and the wicked shall be converted to thee.

 

제가 악인들에게 당신의 길을 가르쳐 죄인들이 당신께 돌아오리이다.

Libera me de sanguinibus, Deus,  .....  Deliver me from blood, O God, 

Deus salutis meae,  .....  thou God of my salvation:
et exsultabit lingua mea iustitiam tuam.  .....  and my tongue shall extol thy justice.

 

죽음의 형벌에서 저를 구하소서, 하느님, 제 구원의 하느님. 제 혀가 당신의 의로움에 환호하오리다.

Domine, labia mea aperies,  .....  O Lord, thou wilt open my lips: 
et os meum adnuntiabit laudem tuam.  .....   and my mouth shall declare thy praise.

주님, 제 입술을 열어 주소서. 제 입이 당신의 찬양을 널리 전하오리다.

Quoniam si voluisses sacrificium;  .....  For if thou hadst desired sacrifice,

desissem utique holocaustis  .....   I would indeed have given it: with burnt offerings 

non delectaberis.  .....  thou wilt not be delighted.

 

Non enim sacrificio delectaris; holocaustum, si offeram, non placebit. 

당신께서는 제사를 즐기지 않으시기에 제가 번제를 드려도 당신 마음에 들지 않으시리이다.

Sacrificium Deo spiritus contribulatus;  .....  A sacrifice to God is an afflicted spirit:   

cor contritum et humiliatum,  .....   a contrite and humbled heart,

Deus, non spernet.  .....  O God, thou wilt not despise.

 

Deus, non despicies.

하느님께 맞갖은 제물은 부서진 영. 부서지고 꺾인 마음을 하느님, 당신께서는 업신여기지 않으십니다.

Benigne fac, Domine,  .....  Deal favourably, O Lord, 

in bona voluntate tua Sion,  .....  in thy good will with Sion;
ut aedificentur muri Ierusalem.  .....  that the walls of Jerusalem may be built up.

 

당신의 호의로 시온에 선을 베푸시어 예루살렘의 성을 쌓아 주소서.

 

Tunc acceptabis sacrificium iustitiae,  .....  Then shalt thou accept the sacrifice of justice, 

oblationes et holocausta;  .....  oblations and whole burnt offerings:

tunc imponent super altare tuum vitulos.  .....  then shall they lay calves upon thy altar.

 

그때에 당신께서 의로운 희생 제물을, 번제와 전번제를 즐기시리이다.

그때에 사람들이 당신 제단 위에서 수소들을 봉헌하리이다.
