Dies irae ... 2

Missa pro defunctis 의 DIES IRAE 중 stanza 7 부터 stanza 13 까지 해석입니다 ...

 

Quid sum miser tunc dicturus  .....  그때 나 불쌍한 이라 하면 어찌하리오?     [參考-8]

quem patronum rogaturus  .....  어떤 분을 간구자로 모시리오?

cum vix justus sit securus  ..... 의인도 겨우 안전할 그 때에.  

 

What am I, miserable, then to say?

Which patron to ask,

when [even] the just may [only] hardly be sure? 

 

Rex tremendae majestatis  .....  두려우신 엄위의 임금

qui salvandos salvas gratis  ..... 구해져야 할 이들을 그저 구원하신 분이시여,     [參考-9]

salva me fons pietatis  .....  자비의 샘이시여, 저를 구하소서.

 

King of tremendous majesty,

who freely savest those that have to be saved,

save me, source of mercy. 

 

Recordare Jesu pie  .....  자비로우신 예수님 기억해주소서,     [參考-10]

quod sum causa tuae viae  .....  당신께서 걸어신 길의 이유가 저 때문이었음을, 

ne me perdas illa die  .....  저를 그 날에 버리지 마옵소서.

 

Remember, merciful Jesus,

that I am the cause of thy way;

lest thou lose me in that day. 

 

Quaerens me sedisti lassus  .....  저를 찾아 헤매시다 기진맥진 하셨으며, 

redemisti crucem passus  .....  십자가 수난으로 저를 구원하셨으니,

tantus labor non sit cassus  .....  그 큰 수고 헛되이 마소서.

 

Seeking me, thou sat tired;

thou redeemed [me] having suffered the cross;

let not so much hardship be lost. 

 

Juste judex ultionis  .....  올바로 갚으시는 의로운 심판관이시여, 

donum fac remissionis  .....  ___ ___ 구원 선물 내리소서. 

ante diem rationis  .....  셈 바치는 날 오기전에

 

Just judge of revenge

give the gift of remission

before the day of reckoning. 

 

Ingemisco tamquam reus  .....  이같이 큰 죄인인 저 탄식하오니,

culpa rubet vultus meus  .....  그 허물이 제 얼굴을 붉히나이다.

supplicanti parce Deus  .....  하느님, 간구하는 저를 용서하소서.

 

I sigh, like the guilty one;

my face reddens in guilt;

spare the supplicating one, God. 

 

Qui Mariam absolvisti  .....  막달라 여자 마리아를 용서하시고

et latronem exaudisti  .....  강도의 소원을 들어주신 분이시여,

mihi quoque spem dedisti  .....  제게도 희망을 베풀어주소서.     [參考-11] 

 

Thou who absolved Mary,

and heardest the robber,

gavest hope to me, too.
